Bron was born in Tanzania and came back to Australia to go to school. She has loved working as an Outdoor Educator and Bush Adventure Therapist since first working for The Outdoor Experience (a drug and alcohol rehabilitation support service) in 1995. Bron lives with her husband Chris and kids, Tom and Jessica on the Mornington Peninsula and they all love living near the bush and ocean.
Bron finished PE/ENG teaching in 1993 and started working as an Outdoor Educator for a camp on Phillip Island. She loved it so much, she continued to study a Grad Dip in Outdoor Ed at Bendigo, and continued to work in a school as an Outdoor Ed Teacher. In 1998 Bron headed overseas for a year and walked up many mountains with very beautiful views, as well as wen white-water rafting in some amazingly remote area’s. Since 2000 Bron has used Bush Adventure Therapy working in the homeless sector, mental health and drug and alcohol fields. Bron has undertaken training in Family Therapy and Narrative Therapy and brings her wealth of personal and professional experience to now work with women who have are experiencing the effects of family violence. Bron enjoys her own bush time, spending time paddling on rivers such as the Mitta Mitta, skiing in the mountains around Mt Hotham, and bushwalking and exploring some of her local pads, spending time on the beach or sea kayaking around the cliffs at Mt Martha.
